    Testimonials

We had a multi-year xeriscape project at our church which CYC installed. We are beyond pleased. The campus looks fantastic and has a very welcoming atmosphere. Chris (owner) knew the project in and out. He was always able to field any questions we had. Cody (foreman) was at the site every work day. The crew was large and completed an amazing amount of work within a timeliness given to us.

Pricing was fair and clearly explained. The project had costs but we helped defray them with grants and rebates.

The city has suggested we apply for two landscaping awards. Everyone is impressed.

    Helen G, Tempe, AZ

We highly recommend CYC Landscaping! Mark helped our dreams come true on our newly built home in North Scottsdale. Mark and his team had a blank slate and took our inspiration and wants and designed the most beautiful hardscape and landscape design that truly exceeded our expectations. Mark had a large scope and his attention to detail really showed while still taking our budget into consideration and often offered alternative options, to not sacrifice design, but to support our budget. Besides all the hardscape and landscape, Mark and his team designed/built our outdoor kitchen, fire pit and half sized basketball /pickleball court. It is hard to imagine what it would look like all pulled together (although he does design on paper, so you will now exactly what you are getting) but Mark exceeded any and all of our expectations. We get so many compliments from all our guests! I trust Mark and his team and highly recommend CYC Landscaping!

    Marissa G, Phoenix, AZ

OUR BACKYARD OASIS IS AMAZING!! Thank you Bob and Mandie at CYC – how great our experience was from start to finish. Bob came out and spent quality time with us, hearing about who we are and what we envisioned, and his skill and dedication brought our vision to life. CYC quoted less than other companies for more work and components! They did a complete backyard kitchen, Installed a pergola, put pavers to add another driveway out front, put turf behind our pool and re-did our rock in backyard. The difference in our quality of life and curb appeal/equity is night and day. Thank you, CYC. True professionals from the word go- every team and contractor was so easy to work with and were so respectful of our property and time. We will use you when we re-do our front yard too!!!

    Michelle M, Phoenix, AZ

To say we are pleased with our yards would be an understatement. CYC transformed both our backyard and front yard into a magical space that we will enjoy for many years to come. We had the pleasure of I working with Mark Wentland who appreciated the fact that we loved our 70-year north Central home and we’re not interested in doing anything fancy. But what Mark did do was provide us with a beautiful plan which we implemented quickly and CYC started on the very day they said they would, but finished the job a week early. We elected to do artificial turf. The final product absolutely exceeded our expectation. From the brickwork to the planting, and finally the turf our yard looks absolutely amazing. This company is a the real deal. We are so grateful for all they did for us.

    Mary N, Phoenix, AZ

Bob and team were excellent. They came in and took on a difficult botched job from a previous landscape company. Their design and installation team met with us to strategize on a comprehensive drainage system after a major flood at our house. They graded our pool deck and also installed a new outdoor kitchen. The CYC team is top notch, im happy to say I picked the right group. Big thank you to the team at CYC.

    Aaron K, Scottsdale, AZ

Bob of CYC has done one project for me and scouted out a few others. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, with years of industry expertise. His crew does professional work extremely quickly. I would highly recommend CYC and Bob!

    Luke E, Phoenix, AZ

We engaged CYC Landscaping for 2 major landscaping projects and a refresh project over the past several years. Each time we have been extremely pleased with the designs, installations and followup CYC provided. CYC was very diligent about meeting timelines and responding to our requests. We will definitely call them again for future projects.

    Richard C, Phoenix, AZ

CYC did an excellent job with my landscape design and completion of the project.

    Lynne S, Phoenix, AZ

CYC was fantastic to work with – they were very accommodating during the design phase, adjusting plans to meet our changing needs. They were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Every member of their team was knowledgeable and kind. Would highly recommend CYC Landscaping for your project.

    Ann M, Phoenix, AZ

I recently had the pleasure of working with CYC Landscaping and I must say that I’m thoroughly impressed with their work. They removed the rock in my front and backyard and replaced it with turf, added a stone pavers walkway next to the house, put in new vegetation and I could not be happier with the outcome. Not only was the installation smooth and fast, but their yard design recommendations were spot on. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that the final result was exactly what I wanted. But what impressed me the most was their pricing. They offered a great price for their services and I felt like I got more than my money’s worth. I highly recommend CYC Landscaping to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and affordable landscaping service.

    Timothy M, Phoenix, AZ

Best landscape design company in the valley. They are not in it for a quick sale, but take the time to listen and review your design. The install crew was amazing as well they treat your home like it is their own.

    Nicole C, Phoenix, AZ

In my search for a complete, bottoms-up landscaper, CYC immediately outshined their competition. They, unlike the others, immediately followed my expectations of producing drawings and plans, and once approved they executed them accordingly. Their subcontractors when needed were skilled and trustworthy. They managed all phases of the work and were in constant communication. After they completed my front yard, I later had them repeat the process for my back yard. And there was excellent follow-up to check on the status of trees, plants and watering schedules even after I made final payments. I receive complements all the time on how great everything works. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs worry-free, on-schedule landscape design and installation.

    Phil W, Phoenix, AZ

Mark, Chris and the CYC team are truly amazing! They really listened to our goal and vision to help us integrate fluidity of space into a detailed, wide-ranging plan, in the surround, of our new home. From every perspective, the team created valued function and beauty throughout the property. The proposed project had many challenges that were all met with calm, articulated execution. The CYC team provided/delivered comprehensive communication via meetings, emails/texts and prompt return phone calls for review, regarded feedback, and CYC recommendations which makes all the difference. As a result, design refinement, timely execution of simultaneous projects, budget concerns, skilled and knowledgeable performance, personal plant selection honored and secured, and emotional connection to the space with respect to the environment made for an enjoyable work experience. This is extremely important when considering a landscape company – which is why we choose CYC landscaping. Mark also assisted us during the HOA approval process by knocking it out in only two submissions. Our project was large in scale encompassing many technical and logistical challenges (BBQ Ramada, Putting Greens, Irrigation, Lighting, Pavers, Pool Travertine, Rock Walls, and Fire Elements). CYC is a full-service landscape company that completed every project and wish with excellence and distinction. We honestly could not have imagined how much enjoyment (relaxing and fun elements), and appreciation of a truly transformed oasis would bring to our family and friends. Perhaps, we are going on too much but the constant procession of people passing by to take pictures speaks for itself. Every person that encounters the property is amazed by the grace of design and so many unique vantage points. We would highly recommend Mark, Chris and the CYC’s professional team to anyone looking for an exceptional design that speaks to you and your family!!

    Tim W, Phoenix, AZ

I have worked with CYC Landscaping on projects at 2 different houses I have owned. They have been extremely responsive to all of my needs. They have showed up when they said to all of our appointments, given great ideas and even supplied me with a detailed drawing showing exactly what they were going to do in my yard. Most importantly, when it came time to do the project I had a detailed timeline of when the project would be completed and they met it every time. As with any project, there can be hiccups, but CYC always remedied those issues quickly and made my yard look amazing. I cannot recommend them enough.

    Angi.com, Phoenix, AZ

The entire CYC was a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail was refreshing. Not only were they always available for design and construction questions, but they were also always johnny-on-the-spot with communication and follow-up.

    Patrick M, Scottsdale, AZ

I wanted to take a moment and tell you how happy we are with our backyard/patio. We have our patio furniture in now and it’s exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for your great service and way of making us feel special! An appreciative customer.

    John, Phoenix, AZ
Our yard was left better than they found it. You did more than what was expected. We will definitely use you in the future for sure!
    Sue, Mesa, AZ
The guys did a fantastic job. They were so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had with any service to date.

Mark, Chris and the CYC team are truly amazing! They really listened to our goal and vision to help us integrate fluidity of space into a detailed, wide-ranging plan, in the surround, of our new home. From every perspective, the team created valued function and beauty throughout the property.

You do very impressive work. The crews did an outstanding job and were very efficient. My neighbors have already begun to compliment the work. I will definitely refer your company to my neighbors. Thank you.

Whenever we get the heavy rains like we had this past week and over the weekend, Alison and I say collectively ” Thank God for Mark Wentland and Tim Dolan”.
You have both made such a great difference in this house and we appreciate it very much.
